Biography

Ad for Ekin Matsuri, a yearly festival of Ekin's art held in July.

1812: Born in Kochi.

1820: By age 18, Ekin was studying the Kanoha style, and he graduated in three years, rather than the customary ten years.[1]

1829: Moved to Edo.
